Job Overview

Seeking highly motivated, ambitious and results oriented Wedding and Event Coordinator. Minimum 2 years experience planning and coordinating weddings and events are required.

This facility specializes in creating all-inclusive weddings and events. From hors d’oeuvres to flowers, menus to music, our award-winning team of professionals personally attends to every detail, ensuring that all weddings and events are flawless.

Experience & Qualifications


2 years progressive experience as a Catering Sales or Wedding Coordinator is required.

Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.

A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of catering/wedding sales.

Ability to effectively communicate details and requirements to other departments and guests.

Working knowledge of computer using basic software.

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills and accurate work practices.

Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.

Effective verbal communication.

Ability to work in a team.

Creative skills and ability to think outside the box when designing weddings and events for upscale clientele is a must.

Ability to work in non-designated office environments



Duties & Responsibilities


Coordinate and oversee weddings from beginning to end.

Conduct and arrange tours, pre-planning visits, menu tastings, rehearsals & wedding day details.

Take event inquires and create event proposals.

Help Corporate Event Coordinators with proposals, event execution & holiday parties.

Assist in event set-up, cleaning and distributing of food and beverages when needed.

Oversee and direct proper room sets and supervision of the events in progress.

Communicate details to ensure that the event exceeds our client’s expectations.

Schedule outside vendors as needed.

Develop strong customer relationships.

Must have a thorough understanding of the sales process in order to meet client expectations and exceed financial goals.

Attend Bridal Shows and Events as part of our ongoing sales effort.

Hours and Availability

Typical workweek: 50-55 hours
