Game Attendant Position

 

Job Overview

The Game Attendant acts as the restaurant Host, answering questions, seating guests and informing patrons of the different games available at Trainwreck. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for setting up, maintaining and keeping the games and the surrounding areas clean, exhibit excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience 

 

No previous experience required 

Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.

Must be computer literate, familiar with cash register and credit card verification equipment.

Working knowledge of point of sale and reservation systems preferred.

Excellent customer service skills.

Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.

Ability to work in a team.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival. 

 

When possible, hold doors open for guests to enter or exit. 

 

Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible. 

 

Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed.

 

Take To-Go orders or assist with DoorDash orders when necessary.

 

Assist with the set up and maintenance of the volleyball courts, golf simulators and other outdoor games.

 

Engage with customers and recommend various activities within the complex, process transactions and assist guests with gaming needs.

 

Maintain a clean work area at all times. (organize and replenish display cases, keep business cards stocked, keep counters clean, etc.)

 

Act as a brand ambassador of fun for all guests.

 

Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

 

Create a memorable guest experience that keeps customers coming back.

 

Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. 

 

Reports safety hazards to manager on duty. Reports all employee accidents to manager on duty.

 

Maintains positive attitude and professionalism at all times.

 

Other duties assigned as needed.

 

Qualifications

Education: Entry level position. 1 year related experience preferred.

 

Language: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors and co-workers.

 

Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to learn new point of sale systems. Must be computer literate.

Hours and Availability 

Typical workweek: 25-40 hours 

*May be more hours during high event seasons.

Evening and weekend availability required.

Hours vary depending on business demand.

Benefits and Pay

Employees are considered “full time status" if the employee consistently works over 30 hours per work week. Benefits are offered to all full time employees after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision and a free life insurance policy.

This position starts at $14.42/hr
