Pizza Clerk Position
Job Overview
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for serving food and beverage with friendly, individualized attention focusing on the company core values. Works as a team to execute events that provide excellent customer service and an amazing guest experience.
Experience
1 year experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.
A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of safe food handling.
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
Excellent customer service skills.
Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain the highest quality and consistent customer service.
Follow all company procedures.
Responds proactively to customer complaints.
Maintains professionalism and is friendly and approachable towards guests and staff.
Reports directly to the General Manager.
Ensure that all customers are educated on our products and services.
Accurately rings in sales on point-of-sale system, including the handling of customer’s payment. Ensures customer receives a receipt and follows highest service standards.
Answers telephone in friendly, courteous manner. Answers customer’s questions and receives and fills customers order as requested.
Restocks shelves or supplies when necessary.
Prepares tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
Clears tables when necessary.
Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations. Communicates with kitchen staff to know if any menu selections are unavailable.
Directs customers to seating areas, suggests dishes, assisting in drink selections, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific needs to kitchen staff.
Maintain excellent dining experience for the guest
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisors.
Reports safety hazards to manager on duty. Reports all employee accidents to manager on duty.
Have knowledge of food safety policies and procedures.
Maintain sense of urgency when on service floor.
Maintain service areas and side works duties for overall productivity.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: Entry level position. 1 year related experience preferred.

Hours and Availability
Typical workweek: 20-40 hours
*May be more hours during high event seasons.
Hours vary depending on business demand.
Benefits and Pay
Employees are considered “full time status" if the employee consistently works over 30 hours per work week. Benefits are offered to all full time employees after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision and a free life insurance policy.
