Drive thru/Counter Support Position
Job Overview
The drive-thru and counter support position is the initial contact with customers and are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any questions that customers may have. This position takes orders, assists with the self kiosk, acts as a cashier alnd assembles orders. Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced team environment are required.
Experience
1-2 years experience is preferred.
Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of safe food handling.
SERV-SAFE certified.
Excellent customer service skills.
Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists customers with self ordering kiosk and acts as a cashier. Greets customers with a smile and assists with questions or concerns.
Receives payments and ensures that correct change is given. Assists customers with credit card transactions as needed.
Assembles completed orders and ensures that customers have flatware, napkins, condiments and sauces before distributing.
Replenishes supplies as necessary and maintains cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Assists with expediting food and preparation of juices and smoothies as necessary. Duties may include slicing, cutting, processing and disposal of food related products.
Clean and maintain work area throughout shift.
Make sure that the hygiene and food safety standards are met.
Maintains professionalism and is friendly and approachable towards guests and staff.
Reports safety hazards to manager on duty. Reports all employee accidents to manager on duty.
Excellent verbal communication skills and has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school or equivalent education preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and recipes. English language proficiency in speaking and reading. Must be able to explain key ingredients on menu items.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply basic arithmetic to common food service applications: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Must be able to handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to be adaptable to sudden changes in production plans, scheduling, and resource allocation, and adept at service recovery. Individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ServSafe certification preferred and should be obtained within 90 days of employment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job functions are performed primarily in a clean, ventilated, well-lighted temperature controlled environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
