|Title:||Gourmet Food Delivery Driver|
The Delivery Service Driver is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of gourmet meals and wholesale orders to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading delivery vehicle and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
Proven experience in same or relevant role.
Must obey all traffic and safetly policies and procedures.
Ability to show up on time and work diligently to completion.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test.
Outstanding organizational abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities.
Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
Pack and load products onto delivery vehicles.
Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
Maintain ongoing communication with Customer Service Rep and Director of Operations.
Unload goods as per client specifications.
Review deliveries to ensure accuracy.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Remains knowledgeable on products offered.
Reports to Director of Operations and Restaurant General Manager.

Education/Experience: 1 year equivalent work experience. Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
Language skills: Must be capable of communicating at a professional level in English with customers and co-workers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
Mathematical skills: Must be capable of accurately performing financial calculations.
Reasoning ability: Must be a multi-task individual with the ability to prioritize activities in such a manner to best serve customers. Must demonstrate ability to deal with unhappy customers or employees and ability to calm a confrontational situation if needed. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment: Employee may spend time in a restaurant setting, but will mostly be performing duties in delivery vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical demands: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use their hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly. Must be able to work at a fast pace.
Work hours: The position is estimated to be 20-40 hours per week.
